Talent Acquisition Specialist – SBM Offshore – Schiedam

This is a contractor position for an initial duration of 6 months

The Talent Acquisition Specialists primary focus is to Identify, Source, Screen and Select the best available ‘passive’ and ‘active’ talent to meet the hiring needs of their aligned business unit, country or region of responsibility. The main focus is to collaborate and coordinate efforts with HRBP’s and or HR Managers, align work to the Global Talent Acquisition strategy by fully understanding the business drivers and needs whist advising, influencing, managing and meeting business stakeholder expectations to deliver an achievable and executable local recruiting strategies. In doing so, translates these local executable recruiting strategies into operational plans by applying expert recruiting techniques and practices to build the current and future talent for the organization. In all day to day activities you will build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, continually improve and protect the employer brand through quality job advert publications, ensuring timely and efficient candidate assessment processes, provide constructive candidate and manager feedback. All these activities are followed up with precise and effective offer management and candidate conversion. You interpret, apply and uphold Company Systems, policies and procedures with a high degree of customer focus, candidate care and confidentiality.

ROLE CONTRIBUTION

Be proactive in proposing solutions the Business can adapt to meet its needs in doing so is able to Understand the Hiring communities wants v needs and influencing hiring decisions for positive outcomes

Collects and formalizes external market data and share information with Compensation and Benefits/Reward as required and making any appropriate recommendations

Manages the full candidate lifecycle and ATS recruitment processes within KPI’s/Goals and or functional performance parameters

Produce high Caliber job adverts to be better than industry and competitor standards

Build effective cost minimal External Talent pools to proactively meet upcoming hiring needs whilst contributing to the cost competitive edge required by global leadership

Recognizes strategic and transformational external talent on the market and position proactively with business stakeholders

Fully understands local and international recruitment legislation which includes all aspects of equal opportunities/Diversity and Inclusion, Data Protection, Employment Law (recruitment related) etc

Builds effective stakeholder relationships always asking the right question to enable hiring community to shape talent requirements

Engage suppliers/man power agencies to deliver quality candidates in alignment with project timescales

Constantly seeks to work collaboratively with the wider Talent Teams to aid all forms of internal mobility and internal recruitment, in doing so ensures Internal applications are dully followed aiming at having the best Candidate’ experience possible contributing to the wider employee engagement programme

The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:

-Continual Feedback from business and HR management as well as candidates

-Audit reporting and KPI Tracking

-Proven sharing of best practices
