Lead Payroll Officer – Oil & Energy. 

Key Skills: Payroll & Administration 
Location: Rotterdam, The Netherlands – Easily accessible by public transport. 
Contract: 12 months – possibility for extension. 
Salary / Package: Between €4-5k p/month with 8% holiday allowance on top. Flexible hours. 
Timeframe: Immediate start available following interview.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Fill out necessary forms and judge tax eligibility

  • Reconcile on regular basis of all ledger accounts impacted by the payroll

  • Issue gross/net calculations

  • Participate in reviews with external auditors and finance

  • Keep holidays and R&R up to date 

  • Experience needed: 

  • 10 years of experience in a similar position. 

  • a PDL certificate (this is mandatory). 

  • Strong knowledge of AFAS. 

  • At least a MBO 4 degree in Finance or Business Administration (preferably HBO.) 

  • Good level of English, both verbally and written. 

  • Understanding of the Dutch labour and tax law, including the 30% ruling. 

  • International exposure, previous experience of assignees from abroad and related tax impact both onshore/offshore. 

  • Previous experience in a regulatory environment (with CLA & Pension fund experience) and in audit.
