YOUR TASKS
For a pioneering construction and assembly project, which is the first one of its kind in Europe, we are looking for an E&I Inspector (m/f/d) for the site at Vlissingen and at Schiedam (Rotterdam) until 21st of April. This innovative project forms a central component of the energy transition by creating the basis for future offshore operations in all of the North Sea.
Your range of tasks will include:
• HSE Compliance & Reporting: Report all HSE and environmental violations; ensure quality compliance in E&I installations.
• Inspection & Testing: Conduct regular inspections of LV/HV installations, mechanical components, and testing of electrical & instrumentation equipment.
• Documentation & Verification: Review contractor documentation (method statements, risk assessments, drawings) and ensure proper records of tests and inspections.
• Coordination & Support: Collaborate with engineering, commissioning, and quality teams; support Elia personnel in on-site E&I activities.
• Progress Monitoring: Track contractor progress, attend site meetings, document findings, and maintain a daily construction log.
REQUIREMENTS & YOUR EXPERTISE
• Experience & Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience, with mandatory offshore and topside fabrication/mechanical completion background.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of relevant legislation, codes, and standards (e.g., DNV-ST-0145, DNV-GL-OS-D201, IEC60634, IEC 61892).
• Education & Certification: Electrical Engineer/Technician qualification and VCA VOL/SCC for supervisors certificate required.
• PPE & Compliance: Must comply with Elia’s PPE and training matrix and provide own PPE (safety shoes, helmet, hi-vis clothing, etc.).
