With the rollout of a new IT landscape in full swing, we are building a modern, centralized data platform that integrates and connects all data initiatives across the organization. /ppAs a Data Engineer, you bring deep expertise in modern cloud-based data engineering, combined with a solid working knowledge of AI and machine learning systems. You play a critical role in transforming raw data into reliable, scalable and high-quality data products that support analytics, reporting and AI-driven use cases worldwide. /ph3SUMMARY OF THE ROLE /h3pAs Data Engineer, you are responsible for designing, building and maintaining robust data pipelines and platforms. You ensure the efficient processing, storage and availability of large-scale datasets, while safeguarding data quality, security and performance. You are not only a technical expert, but also a valued partner for the business, translating technical possibilities into practical solutions and continuously exploring innovative ways to improve our data landscape. /ph3WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING /h3ulliDesign, develop and maintain scalable, cloud-based data pipelines supporting analytics, reporting, IoT data and AI use cases. /liliWork on data modeling using Data Vault principles to ensure flexibility, scalability and auditability of enterprise data models. /liliEnsure the efficient processing and storage of large datasets, optimizing performance, reliability and costs. /liliCollaborate closely with Data Analysts, business stakeholders and Cloud Security teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions. /liliMonitor, troubleshoot and improve data pipelines to ensure high data quality and availability. /liliProvide on-call support and monitoring for critical data pipelines. /liliDesign, deploy and maintain machine learning pipelines and APIs. /liliSupport AI/ML models in production, diagnosing data issues, environment mismatches and inference failures. /liliContinuously explore new technologies and innovative solutions to improve efficiency, scalability and robustness of the data platform. /liliShare knowledge and promote data engineering best practices across the organization. /li /ulh3WHAT YOU’LL NEED /h3ulliA bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer science, Data science or Engineering). /lili0-5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-based environments. /liliDeep expertise in modern cloud-based data engineering, combined with a solid working knowledge of AI/ML systems. /liliStrong knowledge of data modeling, including experience with Data Vault principles, data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes. /liliProficiency in Python, SQL and PySpark. /liliHands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks or Snowflake. /liliExperience with data orchestration and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Git, Azure DevOps). /liliKnowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform, Bicep) is a plus. /liliMicrosoft certifications such as DP-203, AI-900 or equivalent are preferred. /liliAbility to plan work effectively, meet deadlines and collaborate within a team. /liliAbility to act as a trusted business partner, translating technical capabilities into business value. /liliStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. /liliAwareness of data ethics, security and responsible data usage. /li /ulh3WHAT YOU’LL GET /h3ulliA challenging role in a global organization undergoing major IT and data transformation. /liliThe opportunity to work on a modern cloud-based data platform and cutting-edge AI initiatives. /liliA collaborative and international team of data and IT professionals, working from Schiedam and Dubai. /liliPlenty of room for professional growth and development. /liliA competitive salary and attractive benefits package. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
