As a spider in the web, you are the point of contact for the project team and the customer. You will devise system solutions independently, responsible for the technical system architecture and integration of complex systems and installations. Your work includes determining the basic design, providing electrical integration on board ships, preparing technical specifications, and analyzing complex issues. Your Responsibilities
- Determining the basic design and providing the electrical integration of all systems on board ships;
- Commissioning detailed designs or performing them yourself;
- Preparing technical specifications and selecting components and materials;
- Analyzing complex issues to develop new system solutions;
- Editing and evaluating technical data;
- Consulting the client/user and ensuring that systems and installations meet the requirements;
- Advising in the preparation of system designs and commissioning of complex systems;
- Attending internal and external FAT’s as well as HAT and SAT of complex systems.
Your Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Have a reasonable amount of relevant working experience in electrical installations;
- Have a good knowledge of materials related to electronic or control systems and components;
- Have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal;
- Are able to lead and manage a small team of Electrical Engineers on technical content.
