About the Department

The Commercial Vehicles After Sales department within BYD Europe is responsible for all Service & Maintenance related topics concerning our full electric buses and trucks.


About the Role

We are looking for a General Assistant to join the Commercial Vehicles BYD Aftersales.

The successful candidate will report to Manager of European Commercial Vehicle After-sales, directly support the Manager of European Commercial Vehicle After-Sales in handling after-sales inquiries and issues from dealers and partners, actively maintain relationships, and ensure timely and efficient resolution of various after-sales matters. This includes assisting in feedback analysis, identifying trends, and providing improvement suggestions

Furthermore, will generally support with the setup, maintenance, administration and daily operations of the BYD Aftersales Commercial Vehicles.

The After Sales department is based at the BYD Europe B.V. HQ in Schiedam (NL).

Responsibilities

Management Support:
· Coordinate and control the agenda of the Director Aftersales Commercial Vehicles;
· Organize business trips;
· Prepare external meetings including presentations, managing invitations and venues;
· Organize and coordinate internal meetings;
· Timely follow up of outcome of meetings including distribution of meeting minutes;
· Coordinate monthly reports from regional field teams;
· Administration of expense claims and leave requests;
· Support and prepare the annual performance review process.

Internal aftersales organization:
· Control the customer and service provider database
· Ensure a proper onboarding process of new colleagues
· Manage inventory databases (tools, diagnosis equipment etc.)
· Coordinate aftersales company cars
· Manage the customer satisfaction surveys among our customers and service providers.

Other administrative tasks:
·Collaborate in collecting HR-related data for the department, assist in onboarding new employees
· Manage departmental activity funds and organize employee care events within the department.
·Responsible for procuring, registering, and maintaining departmental fixed assets and office equipment.
· Be familiar with internal reimbursement policies and provide guidance to department personnel.


Qualifications

  • Any degree, any major.
  • Outgoing personality with strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and responsible work ethic.
  • Proficient English written skills, Chinese language is a plus.
  • Previous experience in HR and administrative work is a plus.
