DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate the timely delivery of purchased items, including reviewing progress reports of main and sub deliveries and spare parts, and identifying the need for remedial action in case of delay.
- Ensure that all purchased items are delivered in a timely manner, identifying delivery milestones and reviewing fabrication schedules.
- Coordinate all transport matters related to Purchase Orders, including notifying shipping instructions to subcontractors, coordinating shipment with the appointed forwarder, and arranging collection of shipment from subcontractors.
- Instruct forwarders to prepare and book vessels, send notifications to clients for pick-up, and keep track of weekly reports from forwarders.
- Perform necessary paper administration such as commercial invoices, packing lists, COO, and Letter of Credit when required, and check invoices from forwarders.
