Role Purpose

As the Maintenance Projects Lead, you will manage and guide the CMMS Delivery Engineers team across multiple FPSO projects during the Operations Readiness phase. You are responsible for ensuring the CMMS scope is fully developed in line with SBM’s HSSE, operational, and regulatory standards, while also meeting client expectations. Your role is essential in driving the timely and budget-conscious execution of the scope at expected quality. Within the Asset Integrity Projects Department, you will lead cross-functional improvement initiatives and proactively anticipate and address future project needs.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the CMMS Delivery Engineers team to foster a collaborative and high-performance environment
  • Coordinate budget exercise and resources capacity planning during Proposal Phase for CMMS Development Scope.
  • Review contracts with the intent of familiarizing with the requirements and to identify gaps within our Management System
  • Coordinate schedule setup for execution of CMMS development Scope
  • Follow-up budget during CMMS development execution ensuring cost-effectiveness
  • Follow-up scope execution progress and ensure timelines are met, milestones are reached and deadlines adhered to with the aim of preventing project delays.
  • Apply and verify adherence to Quality Assurance protocol and Quality Control activities
  • Verify consistent CMMS Scope execution across different Projects
  • Provide support to the team during peak workloads
  • Setup and execute CMMS Development scope for smaller projects (e.g. MPF)
  • Coordinate IFS training for crew
  • Forster strong and integrated work relationship with Operations Global organization (Asset Integrity and Reliability, Operations Governance, Operation Excellence, Commercial, HSSE and Sustainability)
  • Promote collaboration with Project Control, Cost Control and Operation Readiness project teams
  • Promote Clients engagement through clear communication and efficient scope execution
  • Foster Lesson Learn culture
  • Anticipate future projects needs and adapt the scope accordingly
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction of CMMS scope by standardizing the process (series production)
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with key Service Providers to ensure smooth project execution and support
  • Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is recommended.
  • Experience

  • 5 years of experience minimum in CMMS build
  • 10 years of experience minimum in onshore Maintenance management
  • Mandatory Oil & Gas experience
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experience in multiple budget and planning control.
  • Proven experience remotely managing multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams in a high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge and drive for digitalization
  • Strong communication, motivation and facilitation skills
  • Shall show strong synthesis skill, and good proactivity to retrieve information when working outside of his technical expertise
  • Knowledge of ISO14224
  • Experience offshore is a plus
  • Experience in FPSO turn-key projects is a plus
