Mechanic for heavy lifting and transport equipment
€2.500,00 and €3.700,00 gross per month (depending on experience)
Working at Schiedam, The Netherlands
Do you have a passion for understanding how things work – and how to keep them working? Our cranes cannot lift and our SPMTs cannot operate without skilled technicians who ensure that everything is in optimal condition for safe use.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Repair our special equipment with which we carry out groundbreaking work. Cranes, trailers and unique transport equipment
Carry out maintenance and inspections and provide services to equipment on our workshops and possible client locations
Ensure that the condition of equipment is in accordance with applicable standards and instructions
Carrying out high-quality work, including inspection, prevention, renovation and modification, you look ahead and find smart and lasting solutions
Completing new construction projects as necessary
Working on various types of mechanical (auxiliary) equipment related to various power transmission systems
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
(Basic) level experience in the field of maintenance work, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electronic systems;
(Basic) level experience with diesel engines and how to maintain them;
(Basic) level experience in rigging operations and equipment is an advantage;
English, fluent in speech and writing. Dutch is an advantage;
Safety training and certification according to Mammoet standards;
A completed education in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, commercial vehicle technology or some similar study
Familiar with MS office is an advantage
WHAT YOU’LL GET
A good basic salary between €2.500,- and €3.700,- gross per month, depending on your work experience and knowledge
Overtime is paid, and you can also save for time-for-time hours
