You play a crucial role in delivering turn-key projects that are fully designed and built in-house. /p ul liYou are the one who creates the design. /li liYou independently develop complete mechanical designs. /li liYou translate functional requirements into practical, efficient, and intelligent solutions. /li /ul pYou follow your design from concept through to production, a unique opportunity! /p pWe offer an international, innovative working environment where quality, creativity, and entrepreneurship are central. You design the mechanical components that form the heart of our systems. /p pYour responsibilities: /p ul liIndependently developing and elaborating basic and detailed designs of steel structures, mechanical components, and mechanisms. /li liPerforming structural calculations and basic FEM analyses to support your designs. /li liTaking into account manufacturability, cost, material selection, production processes, and assembly. /li liCreating, checking, and revising drawings for both design and production purposes. /li liEnsuring your design integrates seamlessly within the overall environment and system design. /li liDeveloping alternative design solutions in case of production or assembly issues. /li liCoordinating with procurement, suppliers, and other disciplines regarding component and interface specifications. /li liContributing ideas for the optimisation of existing designs and supporting innovation efforts. /li liDelivering your design to the structural engineer, who further optimises it in consultation and collaboration with you. /li /ul pIn short: you create designs that others can build upon. /p h3Benieuwd of jij ‘equipped for impact’ bent? /h3 pYou are: /p ul liCreative, innovative, and proactive. /li liStrong in communication. /li liA team player who also performs well independently. /li liSolution-oriented, flexible, and detail-oriented. /li liAble to switch quickly in a dynamic project environment. /li /ul pYou have: /p ul liA bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. /li liDutch and English both written and spoken on a professional level. /li li2–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer within the offshore or maritime sector, or in the heavy steel industry. /li liA passion for complex mechanical systems and design. /li liThe ability to prioritise in a technically challenging environment. /li liExperience with AutoCAD and Inventor is an advantage. /li liAn EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands. /li liA good command of the English language verbally and in writing. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liThink big and make big, all in one location.
