SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As a Procurement Category Manager at Mammoet your role will focus on developing and executing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. Collaborating with multiple departments, you’ll ensure procurement processes align with our global business objectives, optimizing the supply chain and contributing to Mammoet’s success.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Develop and maintain a global sourcing and contracting strategy for each category that aligns with business requirements.
Ensure high-quality contracts that mitigate company risks, reduce costs, and meet internal customer needs.
Ensure that contracts are readily available and functional within the ERP system.
Train and familiarize all reporting personnel with procurement processes.
Execute all required actions to fulfill job responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with company policies.
Periodically assess suppliers and their performance in collaboration with the business.
Oversee and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors in the procurement function.
Continuously monitor the correct application of contracts and their relevance to the business.
Make necessary decisions to execute work within the role.
Manage the procurement sub-department.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Strong knowledge of business needs, requirements, and the supplier market.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Strong management and leadership capabilities.
Service-oriented mindset.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in rental and subcontracting.
At least 10 years of work experience at a bachelor level or higher.
