With a worldwide production, service and sales network, we work in offshore wind, geothermal, oil & gas, leisure and civil industries.Position overviewThe Mechanical Engineering discipline is the technical heart of our organisation, responsible for structural calculations, designs, supplier specifications and optimal routing and accessibility of equipment. It covers the full process from initial system design to shop drawing. As Engineering Lead Mechanical you will lead a dedicated team, manage daily activities, allocate work, support professional growth, and ensure quality, progress and delivery of all mechanical engineering activities.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of engineers, ensuring focus, structure and effective work allocation. Manage performance, set priorities and deploy expertise at the right time in close collaboration with the manager.Ensure that discipline deliverables and multidisciplinary designs meet project requirements and engineering standards, and that processes are consistently applied throughout the project lifecycle.Provide expertise to develop and improve engineering methods, tools and technologies.Monitor project progress within the discipline, take corrective action where necessary and ensure the team works according to plan.
