About the position of Service Technician

What to expect of the Service Technician position within Huisman? 

Are you ready to take the first step in the world of offshore? We offer a challenging entry-level position in an international organisation where innovation, quality, flexibility and creativity are key.

As a Service Technician, you acquire practical experience by performing services, fault finding, commissioning and testing on the biggest offshore equipment in the world. In this entry-level position, you receive the training and supervision you need to develop your technical skills and build your career. You will also get the opportunity to continue your growth to more specialised technical positions, such as the role of Service Engineer.

What do we expect of you?

You learn and grow by being responsible for:

Preparing, analysing, localising and helping to solve faults;

Assisting in inspections, repairs and modifications;

Providing support in drawing up reports about the work performed for the operational manager and the customer;

Discussing ideas with the customer about the use, maintenance and new developments of their equipment.

Completed MBO in technical subjects, such as Electrical Engineering, Production Technology or Automotive Engineering;

Some practical things we need you to have:

An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;

A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
