Job Opening: Electronics Engineer at ALTEN Netherlands

Your Role
As an Electronics Engineer at ALTEN, you will:
- Develop, maintain, and improve hardware electronics for our products;
- Independently design electronic circuits and PCB layouts, ensuring compliance with standards, (EMC) requirements, and manufacturability;
- Collaborate with the software team to define microcontroller control and ensure seamless integration with other system components;
- Prepare test specifications and advise PCB manufacturers on circuit design;
- Be familiar with EMC requirements and their measurement;
- Research new technologies and report on feasibility;
- Maintain contact with certification bodies and suppliers relevant to our products;
- Keep your knowledge up to date regarding the designs in question;
- Determine the right strategy and solutions together with other team disciplines;
- Document electronic designs, specifications, test procedures, system architecture, and design specifications.
What We Ask
- Minimum HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of thinking and working;
- 3-5 years of proven experience in electronic hardware development;
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written;
- Residency in the Netherlands;
- Independent and flexible work attitude;
- Ability to systematically analyze problems and translate them into solutions;
- Creativity and proactive thinking;
- Hands-on mentality, strong communication skills, and a team player;
- Ability to develop and communicate a clear vision and architecture;
- Full-time availability preferred.
What We Consider a Plus
- Affinity with embedded software;
- Experience with communication (field) bus systems;
- Experience with EMC-compliant design and testing;
- Experience in designing switched-mode power supplies;
- Experience in designing LED drivers.
