We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Operational Buyer to join our Procurement team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end purchasing process, from initiating purchase orders to managing procurement needs for goods and services. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring precise order placement for diverse projects and maintenance tasks. You will collaborate closely with budget owners, project managers, and other stakeholders to effectively meet organizational requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Create purchase orders and manage contracting processes.
Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.
Proactively address disruptions including late deliveries, quality issues, and invoice discrepancies for seamless operations.
Establish contracts and collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify and translate purchasing requirements.
Execute purchasing tasks within allocated budgets, including specification collection and purchase order generation.
Manage order confirmations, invoices, and resolve delivery or quality mismatches efficiently.
Drive improvements in on-time delivery performance with existing parts and components suppliers.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Possess 3-5 years of hands-on experience in procurement, demonstrating a track record of successful sourcing and contracting.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Management, Sales, or a closely related field, showcasing a solid foundation in business principles.
Exhibit robust communication and interpersonal skills, pivotal for fostering productive relationships and partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
Excel in attention to detail, adept at meticulously overseeing multiple tasks concurrently to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Command a fundamental understanding of procurement methodologies and best practices, coupled with a keen insight into supply chain dynamics.
Proficiency in utilizing procurement tools and software, including SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, is highly preferred and advantageous.
