For decades, we have been working all over the world for offshore wind, geothermal, oil gas, leisure and civil industries. /p pWith our passionate workforce and worldwide production, service sales facilities we are equipped for impact in these times of energy transition. /p p“Lifting IT at Huisman to the next level; that’s our common goal!” /p h3bAbout the position of Senior Functional Application Manager /b /h3 pWhat to expect of the Senior Functional Application Manager position within Huisman? /p pAs a Senior Functional Application Manager, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing and further developing a portfolio of SaaS applications within the domains of Enterprise Service Management (ESM), Collaboration and AI. The main applications in our portfolio are Microsoft 365, Copilot, Freshservice, complemented by several other business-critical applications supporting various domains across the organisation. /p pYou will become part of our global ESM Collaboration team, consisting of approximately six colleagues with junior, medior and senior backgrounds. Together, the team is responsible for the lifecycle management, functional support and continuous improvement of the application landscape, working closely with other Global Applications teams such as ERP and CAD PLM. /p pIn this role, you act as the bridge between business and IT. You analyse business requirements, translate them into functional solutions, and ensure applications continue to support organisational objectives effectively in a global, multicultural environment. You take ownership of your applications, support implementations and releases, and contribute to a stable and future-proof application environment. /p h3bWhat do we expect of you? /b /h3 pAs an experienced application management professional, you are comfortable operating in a dynamic international environment. You quickly understand business processes and application landscapes and know how to translate requirements into practical solutions. /p pYou will be responsible for: /p ul liFunctional management and optimisation of business-critical SaaS applications /li liResolving complex incidents and supporting end users /li liAnalysing business needs and translating them into requirements and user stories /li liManaging stakeholders across business teams, IT departments and external vendors /li liSupporting application onboarding, lifecycle management and continuous improvements /li liAssisting with implementations, releases, testing activities and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) /li liCoaching and supporting junior and medior colleagues within the team. /li /ul h3bWondering if you are 'equipped for impact'? /b /h3 pYou are: /p ul liPragmatic, hands-on and solution-oriented /li liAnalytically strong and able to maintain overview in complex environments /li liCommunicatively strong and capable of engaging stakeholders at different levels /li /ul pYou have: /p ul liBachelor (HBO) or equivalent ability /li liMinimum of 8 years’ experience in a Functional Application Management position /li liExperience with SaaS and cloud-based applications; experience with ITSM solutions is considered a strong advantage /li liExperience with testing, implementations and application lifecycle management /li liKnowledge of ITIL principles and best practices. /li /ul h3bSome practical things we need you to have: /b /h3 ul liAn EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands /li liA good command of the English language verbally and in writing /li liA good command of the Dutch language verbally and in writing /li liOccasional travel could be part of the role /li /ul h3bWhat do we have to offer? /b /h3 ul liThink big and make big, all in one location.
